The simple but eye-catching striped pattern adds the perfect pop of color to the modern nursery. Cheerful, contemporary, and incredibly soft, it's a wonderful addition to baby's decor.

The quilt top fabrics are shot cottons, a light but sturdy solid cotton fabric that has a different warp and weft, which gives the colors a unique richness. The batting is 100% cotton and the backing is a luxuriously soft minky sherpa.

The finished quilt will be 'stitched in the ditch,' meaning the quilting stitches are hidden in the patchwork seams so as not to be visible, but still adding dimension and texture. The binding will be a complimentary neutral or color which is sewn on by both machine and hand.

I make all of my quilts with an eye toward both craftsmanship and design, striving for the upmost quality and an end product that is both beautiful and functional.
